Pin up in Invincible 14.

Joe Martino, Dash Martin and Austin Janowsky provided a pin up for Invincible 14. Pick up a copy of one of the best comics coming out today.

Uncanny Dave Cockrum Tribute Book

Me, Morgan Peter Palmiotti did a pin up for Dave Cockrum and Clifford Meth and Paty Cockrum got it put into the tribute book. This was completely unexpected as when we did the card there wasn't a book in the works but by the time it was finished there was.

No way we expected to get in. Thanks to Cliff, Paty and especially Dave who we are so happy is getting better by the day!!

Shadowflame colorist Found again!

Dash Martin has taken up the Mantle of Shadowflame colorist.  I know this is starting to become like the drummer position in Spinal tap but this time I think we are solid.  Dash comes in with some great experience and is a pro all the way.  We hope to have some samples up soon.

For a look at Dash's stuff feel free to go to www.dashmartin.com

To see some stuff Dash colored for JGM go to the Character section at the bottom of this page.

As always you can discuss this on our forum.

Get Well Soon Dave Cockrum.

I am a huge fan of Dave Cockrum. So as a token of our respect and admiration, we at JGM Comics put together a card for Dave. Morgan "Morganza" Welborn did a rough and I did the finished pencils.  I am passing it off to Peter Palmiotti for inking and we will hand deliver it to Dave in the hospital. Dave needs to know what an inspiration he is to the comic book world.  I commissioned a cover for Shadowflame from Dave and I anticipate him getting back to work and showing the world he still is and amazing artist and person.

Get Well Soon Dave.

You can discuss it here.

Ripperman has found a home!

I will have more specifics soon but Ripperman has got a publisher.  It will go out as a 64 page graphic novel in the late summer\early fall.  I will have more on this very soon. Keep your eyes peeled for more info in the coming weeks.

Jon Hook has written an 8 pager that will feature a future adventure of the Ripperman.   I am in the process now of searching out an artist but may have nailed someone down.  It is a story that I have had in my head for a while and Jon brought it to an amazing life.

Check back soon.

Happy New Year!!

Welcome to the NEW JGM Comics.com

By now you have probably heard that ICE Press is no more. Due to financial issues and a few internal problems we had to shut the doors. But enough of that, on to the positive!

JGM Comics is up and running again! Actually, we never went away but it has been put on the sidelines while I was concentrating on ICE. That is not an issue any longer. I now have more time to focus on what I really want to do.  Produce great comics. I hope you will stay around for the ride.

Currently I am working on issue 4 of Shadowflame.  I can finally sit down and concentrate on that. I set up a new forum and you are all welcome to join.  The forum is where I will discuss up and coming projects and everything related to what I am doing.

So thanks again for visiting.  I hope you like what you see and come back for more.

Joe Martino
